Who I am

I am Jess.

I am the founder of Canary & Cat Limited.

I care about people.

I want to give voice and space to those who are unseen and unheard.

I ask the awkward questions and leave a ton of silence.

I will get it wrong, but I will say sorry.

I think everyone deserves to feel safe where they work.

I know that being vulnerable at work takes courage — and some help.

I am a work in progress, just like you.

I am here to help.

What I Bring

I am ordained and bring a pastoral and spiritual sensitivity to everything I do.

I have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, which shapes how I listen, how I observe communication and how I understand the dynamics between people.

I have a degree in Theology and am currently completing a Masters in Theology and Transformative Practice.

I have around 12 years of experience working for charities and churches, alongside experience in the hospitality, business and public sectors.

I am particularly drawn to small teams where people are personally invested and passionate about what they are doing.
